Kanchi Global School began its journey on 14th October 2013 in Pillaiyaarpalayam, Kanchipuram, as a humble play school with just 40 students, 2 staff members, and 2 caretakers. What started as a small initiative has steadily grown into a trusted institution known for quality education.
The school was founded under the visionary leadership of Mr. I. Julian Camillus (M.Com., M.Ed., M.Phil.), an accomplished educator with over 33 years of experience, including valuable international exposure. In recognition of his excellence, he was honored with the Dr. Radhakrishnan Award by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2011.
The Panimalar Educational and Charitable Trust was established to support and nurture a dynamic and effective learning environment, strengthening the vision of world-class education in Kanchipuram.
From its inception, Kanchi Global School received overwhelming community support. In academic year 2014–2015, the school proudly recorded over 400 admissions — a testament to the trust and satisfaction of parents.
The appreciation and encouragement from parents played a vital role in the school's growth. Their word-of-mouth support turned them into proud ambassadors of the institution, helping expand its reach across Kanchipuram.

My journey in education began in 1987, and over the years, I have walked the path as a Teacher, Vice Principal, and Principal. Each role shaped me, taught me, and opened my eyes—not only to what education can achieve, but also to what it often lacks.
I witnessed challenges that limited growth, systems that created barriers, and opportunities that were left unexplored. While I could see clearly what needed to change, I often felt the absence of action to truly transform those realities. That thought stayed with me… and slowly grew into a purpose.
Kanchi Global School was born from that purpose—a dream to break barriers and build bridges where they once did not exist.
